Canal FOX is the Latin American version of the American channel FOX. It was launched on October 15, 1993. The channel is mainly oriented towards family audiences, unlike its sister channel FX. Though it is a Spanish-talking channel, the shows are referred to they original name (except for The Simpsons).

The channel joined to the worldwide premiere of The Walking Dead, which premiered in November First, 2010. To promote the series, the channel joined the Zombie Invasion Event.

After the final episode of the first season of The Walking Dead, Fox released the uncensored version of the first episode; this is not the first censored episode (mostly all of them, due the excess of violence, through is a family channel).

In December 2010, the channel started using the RTC ratings (Radio, Televisión y Cinematografía) in Mexico.
